Micro and Nano technology for neuronal systems
The school will focus on the new and rapidly growing areas of neuro-information technologies (neuroinformatics) and neuroengineering, where neuroscience, information technology and engineering merge. The school will be organized and partly funded by the Faculty of Engineering (University of Genova), and by the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT).
The proposed topic for the 2012 is the synergic interaction between artificial elements (at the micro/nano scale) and natural neuronal elements constituting the brain.
